Al Bashir Receives Museveni Invitation

Khartoum - President Omer Al Bashir has received a message from his Ugandan counterpart, President Yoweri Museveni, inviting him to attend the swearing- in ceremony marking his new presidential term that will take place on 12 May.
The message was delivered by the Ugandan president's envoy, James Baba, who has said the invitation comes by following the Ugandan people decision to place their trust once again on President Yoweri Museveni in the election conduced on 18 February this year.
"This event is a good opportunity for strengthening relations with all our neighbors more and more," Mr. Baba said.
Sudan and Uganda are joined by historical relations that have been strengthened by the partnership in the Nile water which he describes as the "umbilical cord" that connects Nile Basin countries.
The Ugandan envoy said Uganda has real desire for partnership with Sudan and South Sudan since both can participate in regional cooperation for expanding markets and attracting investments.
Uganda has invited many heads of state of neighboring countries for the occasion.

Khartoum - Il Presidente Omer Al Bashir ha ricevuto un messaggio dal suo omologo ugandese, il presidente Yoweri Museveni, invitandolo a partecipare al giuramento che segna il suo nuovo mandato presidenziale che si svolgerà il 12 maggio.
Il messaggio è stato consegnato dall'inviato del presidente ugandese, James Baba, che ha detto l'invito viene da seguito alla decisione ugandese gente a riporre la propria fiducia, ancora una volta il Presidente Yoweri Museveni nelle elezioni del condotto, il 18 febbraio di quest'anno.
"Questo evento rappresenta una buona opportunità per rafforzare le relazioni con tutti i nostri vicini più", ha detto Baba.
Sudan e Uganda sono uniti da relazioni storiche che sono state rafforzate dal partenariato in acqua del Nilo che egli descrive come il "cordone ombelicale"che collega i paesi del bacino del Nilo.
L'inviato ugandese ha dichiarato l'Uganda ha reale desiderio di collaborazione con il Sudan e il Sud Sudan in quanto entrambi possono partecipare a una cooperazione regionale per l'espansione dei mercati e l'attrazione di investimenti.
L'Uganda ha invitato molti capi di stato dei paesi vicini per l'occasione.
