الأمم المتحدة تدعو وسائل الإعلام لدعم استعدادات جنوب السودان للإستقلال


حثت بعثة الأمم المتحدة في السودان وسائل الاعلام والاجهزة الامنية بمساعدة حكومة جنوب السودان المستعدة لاحتفالات الاستقلال في 9 يوليو.
ودعت مسئولة الشئون المدنية فى بعثة الأمم المتحدة سيلفيا فليتشر خلال ورشة عمل عقدت فى جوبا لتشجيع الحوار بين وسائط الإعلام والأمن في جنوب السودان ، من الصحافة ووسائل الإعلام الإعداد لهذا الاحتفال ولمستقبل الحرية السياسية لتمكين حرية الصحافة و الحرية السياسية في نفس الوقت بطريقة أفضل .وقالت فليتشر أن الامم المتحدة مستعدة لاستقبال جمهورية جنوب السودان كدولة عضو جديد بعد 9 يوليو.
وأضافت : نحن نتطلع بحماس إلى الترحيب بجمهورية جنوب السودان كدولة عضو في الأمم المتحدة. وهذا إجراء رسمي ونحن جميعا نتطلع كثيرا لذلك. نحن هنا لتقديم الدعم من خلال بعثة الأمم المتحدة ، حتى نهاية ولايتنا ، وقالت : نحن هنا لمواصلة دعم الحوار بين وضع الصيغة النهائية بين الشمال والجنوب ، نأمل من بعض القضايا العالقة في اتفاق السلام الشامل أن تحل ، ونتطلع لخدمة شعب جنوب السودان والحكومة الجديدة
United Nations calls on media to support the preparations for the independence of South Sudan.
